WHAT IS THE CLASS ABOUT

Elevate your practice with Aerial Yoga. The entire class takes place mid-air as you flow from pose to pose on a Yoga Swing. This unique prop takes the strain off your body letting your practice be longer and more comfortable.

There is strength to be gain from Aerial Flow Yoga. Your core will work hard to support your back. But there is relief to be had too. Feel its restorative and therapeutic benefits as the inversions alleviate the tightness in your neck, shoulder and lower back.

Aerial Flow Yoga has two levels. Level 1 is for beginners to learn and get comfortable with the basics of the Yoga Swing. Level 2 is designed for those looking to take their Yoga practice to the next level.

Who is the class suitable for

• Aerial Flow Level 1: a beginner friendly class where students will learn to use the swing as a prop, overcome fear, master new techniques and practice postures where one or both feet are off the ground.
• Aerial Flow Level 2: For students that have advanced in their practice and ready to progress. The practice is made up of more challenging athletic postures and inversions.

INFO BITES

• At Aerial Yoga, the pace is slow but the intensity is high. We’ll stay in each pose for an extended period of time, fully feeling the stretch before taking on the next challenge. We’ll start off with hanging poses and move on to upside down manoeuvres. Each move will keep your mind stimulated as you rely on every muscle you have to maintain control from pose to pose.

• Once you’re back on ground, you’ll feel its benefits physically and mentally. It’s one elevated practice that reinvigorates your body and relaxes your mind.
