Reni Minarti, the winner of Fitness First 2019 New You Achievement Award in the Stronger category, has six-pack abs to show and a story to tell.

Before her transformation, Reni was a 45-year old executive who was working long hours and many overtime, both of which frequently pushed her into physical exhaustion and mental stress. While she knew she needed a fitness solution, she was regularly discouraged by the general belief that women her age cannot expect much in terms of fitness ability. But she refused to give up.

Reni joined Fitness First Training Program and made her bet to begin a fitness journey to strengthen up her body. Under the guidance of her personal trainer Hendriana, Reni trained at least three times every week, doing a combination of HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) program and customized weight-training session. And the result came quickly.

Previously carrying a 50-kg load, now Reni is able to lift the weight above 100 kg. She has successfully gained 3 kg of muscle mass and a six-pack abs to pair. Best of all, she has a metabolism rate similar to that of a 20-year old. Reni is stronger, fresher, and is more motivated than ever to stay productive in her workplace and daily life. 

Her advice for anyone who thinks it is too late to get fit, “Prove to anyone who sticks with that stereotype is wrong. Stay committed to your training and manage a proper diet, the result will be within reach in a short time.”
